Dentist speaks out about the dangers of mercury fillings
by: Jonathan Landsman
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in the United States, there are approximately 87,000 dentists and, tragically, most of them never learn about the dangers of amalgams (mercury-based filling). Nearly half of these dentists still place highly-toxic mercury fillings in the mouth of unsuspecting people – it’s time to speak out about this crime against humanity.
Dental amalgams dump around 30 tons of mercury into the air, water and food supply – every year! Boyd Haley PhD, Emeritus Professor of Chemistry at University of Kentucky, has called mercury a ‘biochemical train wreck in your body’. Mercury fillings can cause brain damage; neurological disorders plus many other
Conventionally-trained dentists would like you to ignore the dangers of mercury fillings
Obviously, not everyone will notice a negative effect from mercury fillings but, make no mistake about it, this toxic heavy metal is bioaccumulative within the body. The longer you live with mercury – the more toxic you get. And, don’t ever consider removing mercury fillings – unless done by a holistic dentist trained in the proper safety protocols for extraction.
In February, 1998, a group of the world’s top mercury researchers announced that mercury from amalgam fillings can permanently damage the brain, kidneys, and immune system of children. Numerous studies reveal that mercury fillings cause gastrointestinal problems, sleep disturbances, concentration issues, memory loss, chronic fatigue, bleeding gums plus a host of other mouth disorders.
The average mercury filling releases about 34 micrograms of mercury daily. This toxic vapor permeates every cell of our body – eventually breaking down the immune system. On the next NaturalNews Talk Hour, Jonathan Landsman and Leonard Fazio, D.D.S. talk about how to safely remove dental amalgams.
What do I need to consider before removing mercury-based fillings from the mouth?
First of all, and I say this respectfully, if your dentist is willing to take out your mercury fillings (quickly) without regard to proper safety precautions – for you and the dentist – it’s time to find another dentist. We know that exposure to mercury causes brain damage and if your dentist doesn’t protect you, during the extraction process, then that dentist is not thinking clearly. Naturally, before the actual procedure, it would be a great idea to follow a healthy diet – loaded with antioxidants like vitamin C – for weeks (if not months) – depending upon your individual health status.
Through my own research, I was blessed to have met Leonard Fazio, D.D.S. (my personal dentist) – who taught me a lot about: the proper way to determine which amalgam to extract first – through ‘electrical testing’; the importance of room ventilation and oxygen procedures; charcoal rinsing – to minimize the threat of mercury exposure during the drilling process plus much more.
On the next NaturalNews Talk Hour – Jonathan Landsman and Leonard Fazio, D.D.S. talk about the dangers of mercury and provide a step-by-step guide to the safe removal of dental amalgams. Don’t miss this life-saving program.

Dr. Leonard T. Fazio graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, New York, New York in 1988. He has been practicing mercury free, and metal-free dentistry since 1993, and he is dedicated to the philosophy of holistic, integrated dentistry.
He was personally-trained by the renowned Hal Huggins, DDS, and continues to expand his knowledge on this subject, as well as any / all complimentary therapies and protocols designed to promote optimal oral and overall health.
Mercury poisoning destroys the immune system. Dental amalgams are 50% mercury causing massive damage to the kidneys, brain and central nervous system. The dangers (and truth) about mercury fillings is being systematically suppressed by government health agencies and ‘modern’ dentistry.
